technical trainer

Due to the growth, our client are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced technical trainer to develop and deliver all internal IT training. This Technical Trainer will provide a vital role in ensuring that all staff across all sites have the up to date information about all of their IT systems. This role will be working within the training department, reporting into the Training Manager whilst having a strong connection and working directly with the IT department and business process owners to discuss and ensure that all training requirements for the business are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality, professional training across the organisation
  • To develop and deliver all technical IT related training consisting of both off-the-shelf IT systems as well as bespoke systems
  • Deliver training remotely to train staff at other sites
  • Develop all training material as well as relevant guides and information to be provided to all attendees in line with corporate standards
  • Actively be involved and engaged in all procedures and processes relating to any systems and practices that will result in the delivery of a training course or information updates
  • Work alongside the Training Manager and IT department to discuss future training requirements within the business
  • Deliver weekly induction courses
  • Train staff within the business to deliver training where required
  • Support in the advertisement of training courses
  • Review and action any feedback provided from the training delivered

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Track record of developing and delivering training relating to both off-the-shelf IT applications as well as bespoke systems
  • Ability to engage, learn and be involved in the systems development from the initial discussions is key
  • Excellent delivery of training
  • Demonstrate experience in the positive adoption of new systems/updates to staff
  • Experience of completing guides and information sheets for post-training course purposes
