the role:

An amazing opportunity to join a successful family run business and assist in their purchasing department as well as helping in other departments when required. Day to day, you will raise purchase orders and process invoices. You will support the finance, transport and sales departments with general administration and incoming enquiries. As you get settled into this position you will have a hand in negotiating with suppliers, conducting supplier reviews and looking at ways that systems can be improved. There is everything to be involved in here. The more you want to learn the more you can do.

There is also a potential end of year reward and the opportunity for progression in the future. What we’re looking for: Ideally you will have 1 to 2 years administration experience and a flexible/can do attitude. Personality and willingness are key here to join a busy and vibrant team. You need to have excellent communications skills and an excellent working knowledge of Excel, be organised and detail focussed with the ability to multi-task. You will visit the port to check quality of stock and carry out stock takes as and when required.
