project manager

We are recruiting a fantastic Project Manager position. This is a new role due to contract growth and would be ideally located in the Suffolk area.

The Position:

To project manage and direct a number of key projects in and around the Central Business Unit branch

Direct, design, manage the installation of the project operating within agreed time schedule through

Continually review and identify improvements to the strategic objectives of the project and manage change

Develop and manage procurement strategy for the project against programme and estimate

Regularly review project progress through site visits ‘walking the site’

Direct and manage the installations of the project to ensure financial targets, profit margins, are maintained and improved

Overall responsibility for motivation, welfare and development of staff and labour on site, and the operation of the Company Annual Assessment Programme on the project.

Proactively encourage team working, including regular on site presence and team project review meetings

Develop and manage appropriate and effective communication channels on the project ensuring that production targets are thoroughly understood and part of team culture

Maintain a proactive approach in managing the Company’s risk

Manage client, to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project, resolve any issues in a professional and efficient manner

Ensure client is fully aware of the current financial situation of the job throughout the duration of the project

Previous Management of Projects

Health and Safety experience

Sub-Contractor Management experience

Electrical Engineering knowledge

Excellent Computer skills

Great communicator, able to build rapport
