insurance account executive

The Role:

Working within a innovative and rapidly growing Commercial Insurance Broker in Ipswich, this is an insurance job like no other with complete focus on the customer experience and their satisfaction. We are ideally looking for candidates with some insurance experience, commercial insurance would be an advantage. We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic people. This is a role with real autonomy. You will deal with incoming enquires and provide quotes through sophisticated IT systems. Although most of the business is transacted on line, the customers you speak to will have your direct number and will be able to call you with any questions/queries. Its not a call centre and you must take responsibility for keeping up the brand tone and service which has resulted in its success to date.

You will be part of a team with customer service at the forefront, although you will need to show results, this is not a sales role. All enquiries are incoming and then its up to you to shine from there and give the customers their best options.

As you are conversing with customers daily you must have excellent communication skills both orally and written. This is a team centred role where you will assist colleagues and they in turn will help you, you will be involved in integrating new starters and offering support wherever possible.

What were looking for:

People with a passion for Customer Service. Commercial Insurance experience would be a distinct advantage, but a good general insurance background would also be considered. You need to be a listener and communicator, lots of clients will be small businesses so you need to be patient and explain policies clearly and make sure you are offering the best product available to them.
You must have a team mentality and be engaged, professional and supportive.
