 the role: 

The Payroll Services Manager will lead and manage payroll, pensions, the HR Admin team and systems to provide a valued outsourced service to clients. You will be managing team deadlines for multiple payrolls which can involve TUPE legislation, timeframes and understanding different employment terms and conditions.  This role will require you will be responsible for embedding process changes and the management of escalations of service issues effectively. You will continuously improve and evolve the work flows across the teams to ensure sustainability and growth, taking on more clients from outside the sector to deliver a more diverse customer base.

what we’re looking for: 

The Payroll Service Manager will have previous experience of payroll delivering a high level of service and enthusiasm.  You will need previous experience of CIPP or equivalent payroll qualification. The role requires someone who is highly organised with the ability to prioritise the workload and has a passion for delivering excellent customer service with confidence in communicating with others and presenting to new partners. The role requires someone who can lead, coach and inspire team members on effective practices in payroll and pensions.
