Our client based in Romford is seeking a Forwarding Clerk. This is a customer service orientated role so excellent communication skills are paramount.
Main responsibilities include liaising with Customs & Transport departments
Cross referencing documentation
Checking applications for import licences where required
Arranging delivery based on carrier/ merchant haulier if required
Receiving and responding to customs inquiries

What we’re looking for:
Sufficient experience in shipping
Good telephone manner is essential as this is a customer service environment
