We are recruiting for our client a well-respected industry leader within the shipping industry.
This role comes with a travel allowance of £6,000 as there will be weekly travel to their other office with 2 days based in their Ipswich (outskirts) office and 3 in their other office. Accommodation will be provided by the company.
Effectively liaise with customers for all inbound movement of goods from worldwide locations to arrive at UK based distribution Centres
To adhere to service requirements and ensure that the details are in line with the agreed Customer SOP
Ensuring that any service changes or updates are included in both a revised SOP
Maintaining excellent levels of service
Ensuring that customers are invoiced in a timely manner for services provided
Ensuring that any questions/queries are responded to effectively and in a timely manner

What we’re looking for:
Experience preferably within Logistics Supply Chain & Retail Logistics sectors specifically,
Excellent customer service experience
Strong IT skills including MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Must be comfortable working with detailed data
Keen time & deadline management, as well as monitoring that of Customer Service Coordinator team member tasks to ensure quality service
