corporate governance manager

The Role:

Working for this amazing charity, you will be in charge of understanding the organisations overall governance, regulatory and audit requirements and support teams to fulfill compliance. You will also be able to manage your own projects and take a lead when new requirements come into effect. You will be the Information Governance Lead for the company and be fully conversant with GDPR rules. This in an immersive role where you will ensure that creating audit trails and compliance are second nature in everything that the charity does. Updating policies and procedures and rolling out as required and ensuring understanding is a must as well as being on hand for any advice needed.

Although there are complex requirements due to the business, there are already robust practices in place but new ideas and ways of sharing information are always welcome. This is a very inclusive environment and really a team operation. Due to the current situation home working is encouraged with the ability to go into the office for meetings or when required for your role.

What we’re looking for:

GDPR and Information Governance experience is a definite requirement as well as the ability to take responsibility for projects and the effective imparting of information/procedures to teams. You will be immersed in everything the charity does and be mindful of compliance in all their endeavors.
