We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Account Manager to join a multi-award-winning software company based in Ipswich.  As the Sales Account Manager, you will be part of a small, experienced and enthusiastic team of 3 who develop new clients and grow business for the company through outbound calling, following up incoming leads and enquiries as well as representing the company at trade shows.  The company offers outstanding software, mainly used by accountancy firms, they are your target client base.  With over 35,000 accountants in the UK, you will never be short of connections to make!  This really is a consultative sale with a market leading product……. clients are onboarded by taking a demo and free trial which you will manage all the way through to client sign up, where you will then have a talented customer care team who will look after their needs.  There is lots of support here, a great team, weekly sales meetings, ideas are generated, and decisions are made quickly within this business.  If you enjoy researching your leads, making strong connections and selling a state-of-the-art product, this is an excellent all-encompassing position.

what we’re looking for.

We really need a confident sales professional, ideally with a track record of selling a complex product, your experience must be business to business.  Due to the software side, you will need the ability and desire to learn the product which is technical.  You will of course be given full training and your knowledge will develop over time.   This is a mainly phone-based role, but attendance and preparation for trade shows a couple of times a year will also be part of your job.  Organisation and follow up are key skills within this role as well as the ability to identify good target clients along with your team and work in a cohesive manner.
