We are actively looking for a new Business Development Manager to join our client’s busy team based in Felixstowe. While the head office is Felixstowe based the ideal candidate could be based within the surrounding counties and only expected to be in the office one day per week.
The role is for freight and logistics sales and the package will be competitive depending on experience.
Generating new client opportunities from prospecting into an active pipeline
Introducing the companies services to potential clients following these client opportunities through the entire sales process to conclusion
Working closely with colleagues across the company
Upselling other services where possible
What we’re looking for:
Experience of Ocean and Air Forwarding with a knowledge of the Global and UK Freight market
Experienced in Microsoft Office (advanced level)
Ability to deal with multiple stakeholders
Strong Negotiation and Persuasion Skills
