the role.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join a leading logistics and maritime service provider! You will be responsible for promoting and selling the company’s services and playing a vital role in generating revenue while being the face of the company.  The company have enjoyed massive success within the last few years and have grown in customers, staff, and reputation and this is a trajectory which is set to continue.

Day-to-day duties include:

  • Identify potential clients and initiate contact with prospective clients
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ logistics requirements
  • Prepare pricing quotes and proposals
  • Negotiate, close sales deals, and achieve sales targets
  • Build relationships with existing clients
  • Collaborate with transportation providers
  • Ensure accuracy with completion of shipping documents and compliance with company policies

The perfect match for this role is someone who has experience in logistics, freight-forwarding and sales. It is essential that you have a clean driving licence, strong communication skills, and good problem-solving skills.  They are looking for someone who is proactive and has a results-oriented approach, as well as this can adapt in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
