the role.

A rare opportunity has become available for an eager and energetic sales professional to take over the Northern Region of this International Lighting Company.  You will be looking after customers based within the Leeds / Lincolnshire / Doncaster / Sheffield / Huddersfield / Bradfield areas.  There are 30 Area Sales Manages covering the country and you will report directly into the Regional Director.

You will be looking after and growing accounting within wholesale customers by:-

  •  Developing relationships with Wholesale Branch Managers, Buyers and Trade Counters
  •  Follow monthly call plans to ensure all your customers are visited each month
  •  Target upcoming project opportunities
  •  Assist wholesalers, electrical contractors, and consultants to specify your products to their customers through training and product advice

You will be completing monthly reporting and presenting to your peers at a monthly divisional sales meeting, sharing customer developments, new initiatives, and ideas.

You need to have a stable background in a sales or account management role, our clients need to see longevity in your career to date.  If you work within the lighting / electrical or technical industries, this would be fantastic, but all backgrounds will be considered.  You need to be self-motivated, professional, enquiring, and able to start and maintain good working relationships.  Customer Service is essential here, responding to enquiries, information requests etc. quickly and professionally, assisting customers with any technical assistance they need.  Let’s talk in the first instance!
