Absence – If you are going to be absent from your assignment due to illness etc, please contact your Temps Consultant. Our offices are open from 8.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am – 5.00pm on Friday. Out of hours, please do leave a message and we will contact you immediately. You must inform us as soon as possible about any absence, ideally before your start time so that we can inform the client and arrange a replacement if necessary.
Lateness – As a matter of courtesy, if you are running late, please call your Temps Consultant, so we can inform your placement client of your expected arrival time.
Dress – Always dress smartly. Shirts and ties are always advisable for men and smart trousers/skirts for women. Unless a client has a specific casual dress policy, please refrain from wearing denim, trainers and flip flops etc. We will normally be able to inform you of any specific dress requirements before the start of your assignment.
Timesheets – On confirmation of your assignment you will receive your login details for our timesheet system by email. Please keep these somewhere safe as you will need them each time you log on. Please input your hours worked less any breaks taken. Hours should be entered in decimal format (for example 30 minutes would be 0.50, 15 minutes 0.25 or 45 minutes 0.75). Please make sure any hours entered that are past the hour are rounded up and down to the nearest 15 minutes. You can save your timesheet as a draft throughout the week but make sure you submit it before the deadline. Your timesheet will then be submitted for authorisation to your line manager.
Your payslip will be emailed to you each week by our payroll company.
Holiday – If at any time you wish to know how much holiday you have accrued, please contact your Temps Consultant who will be able to assist. Booking holiday from your assignment requires a ‘Holiday Form’. This form can be downloaded from our website, or provided by your Temps Consultant. Your holiday request must be completed and signed by the supervisor within your assignment and then returned to us to process holiday pay and cover for you if required.
Holiday will be processed manually so do not enter any holiday hours taken on to the timesheet system.
Notice – If you are unable to complete your assignment, please let your Temps Consultant know as soon as possible so we can inform your placement client and arrange a leaving date.
