Mental health problems can affect anyone, at any time.
At polkadotfrog, we believe that taking care of your mental health should be a priority for everyone.
The theme this year for Mental Health Awareness Week is ‘body image’ – which takes a closer look at how we feel and think about our bodies.
Last year, the Mental Health foundation found that 30% of all adults have felt so stressed by body image and appearance that they felt overwhelmed or unable to cope. This can have a detrimental knock-on effect to how you percieve yourself which in turn is damaging to your mental health.
We can be especially unkind to ourselves when it comes to feeling comfortable in our own skin, this years campaign aims to tackle this. For more information on how toBeBodyKind please visit the Mental Health Foundation’s website: http://ow.ly/ubf050u9okG
