During 2021/22 Care Development East worked closely with Spider, the region’s Online Job Advertiser, to manage their direct candidate attraction process. When Care Development East were looking for a temp to join their marketing team, Spider was pleased to introduce polkadotfrog, the recruitment agency division of Spider, to ensure their client’s needs were met.

Yasmin Wagland, one of polkadotfrog’s Recruitment Specialists worked closely with Christian Bone, Chief Executive of Care Development East to fully understand their requirements for this brand-new position in his company so she could proactively source the ideal candidate for their exciting Events and Marketing role.

From understanding the brief to writing the job spec Yasmin used all her skills and myriad of tools to hand pick a shortlist of 7 suitable candidates for Christian to review. Christian shortlisted 3 candidates, including Kelly who Yasmin contacted directly about the opportunity! The rest, as they say, is history!  Kelly sealed the deal and was offered the job…she impressed so much they offered her the role on a permanent basis rather than a temp contract, which goes to show their commitment to and belief in Kelly being the right person for them.

After Kelly had successfully joined the team, she was quick to make her mark in working with Christian and the Care Development Team to deliver the hugely successfully Suffolk Care Awards at The Hanger, Milsons Kesgrave.  A very prestigious, well attended and fantastically organised event!
