Luke Jones, polkadotfrogs Finance Expert discusses the recent collaboration announcement from the ACCA and the CFA:
The ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) & CFA (Association of Investment Professionals) have just signed a 3-year collaboration which will see the two bodies focusing on relevant and important financial issues for professions, such as ethics and professionalism, Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and thought leadership. The two organisations will be working together to explore areas of common interest by undertaking research and professional working insights. The signing of the ‘Memorandum of Understanding’ (MoU) between these two organisations marks a step forward in the Finance sector and we should expect exciting things to come in the future.
I believe that by becoming more closely linked, the two bodies will work together on key issues to make the financial services & accountancy sector more ethical, and although their values have always been similar, this MoU further cements an understanding that will enhance both professions.
