polkadotfrog are currently representing a leading organisation in Suffolk who are seeking a Technical Architect / Technical Manager. This position plays a lead role in analysing requirements for, defining, documenting, and articulating to internal and external audiences.
The successful applicant shall be required to work on a range of business requirements and perform analyses and deliver specifications for solutions, systems, products and processes for complex projects. You shall be experienced working with the design and architecture of systems and solutions based on internal strategy, requirements and customer requirements.
As well as being a technical minded person we are seeking a candidate who can provide leadership and technical supervision to teams involved in development, delivery, and support. It is essential you are able to generate new ideas and you are willing to take smart business risks, support change, and encourage innovation.
Applicants must have expertise in Systems Analysis, Design and Architecture using UML. Our client is seeking candidates with skills relevant for various architectures/systems (client server, n-tier, Web apps, Rich Internet Applications, Services, etc) - with strong background in designing complex and large scale solutions. You shall ideally have expertise in development on a .NET platform with C# (ASP.NET, WDF, WF, WPF, Silverlight, etc). In terms to database experience we are seeking candidates who are confident working with Databases development and understand Oracle and / or SQL Server.
Applicants must have experience in systems integration and ideally have knowledge of various interoperability and standardisation initiative in the Energy and Utilities sector, preferably you shall have experience with various ESB and BPM products such as Biztalk, TIBCO, etc.
