polkadotfrog are currently recruiting for a Infrastructure Administrator to join our leading Cambridge Client who are currently offering an initial permanent fixed term contract for a year. This role shall involve participating in a team of system administrators to ensure Services Infrastructure is being developed and planned and you shall be responsible for gathering requirements, designing and implementing enterprise-wide solutions. Candidate shall be required to proactively improve, optimise, converge and develop the infrastructure with future capacity in mind and manage multiple projects and responsibilities.
Applicants shall have experience of Directory Services; Active Directory, PKI, Messaging; Exchange 2010, Blackberry Enterprise Server, Operating Systems; Windows Server 2008/2008R2 (including clustering) and Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Databases; Oracle (including use of RMAN) and SQL and ideally have an understanding of ITIL
Applicants mush have the ability to influence the decision-making process, make presentations and recommendations, both verbally and in writing and be a "self starter" who can work with minimum guidance
