Senior Systems Development Engineer
polkadotfrog are currently seeking a senior developer to analyse, design, program and debug / modify software enhancements for a leading organisation. My client is offering the opportunity to work on leading development projects and there is lots of scope for the right person to develop and be promoted within the current business structure.
Within this new role you shall be working daily with current Microsoft programming languages and technologies, you shall be required to write code and perform testing of applications. We are seeking candidates with a prior experience in analysis, design, implementation and testing of software sub-systems. You shall have experience documenting software designs and troubleshooting and correcting defects in program code. It is essential that applicants have a solid experience working with C# and have a sound working knowledge of the .NET platform.
Key skills / experience:
. Experience in the full software lifecycle - analysis, design, implementation and testing of software sub-systems
. Experience with C#, the Microsoft .NET platform, and related technologies
. Good communication skills - especially writing technical documents
. Demonstrate experience developing against Microsoft SQL Server (2005 or above) and/or Oracle (9i or above)
Desirable:
. Previous experience within a R&D / Engineering environment
. Degree / related qualification in Science / IT / Maths / Engineering
