polkadotfrog are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager to join an international sales team within a specialist Engineering environment. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in your career or for a experienced Sales Manager looking to join a company in the prime period of there growth.
The successful applicant shall be responsible for the management of the entire sales office reporting to the Sales Director. You shall be tasked with managing sales targets and supervision of a small - medium international sales team, assisting in the closing for deals and contract negotiations.
Part of this exciting role shall be to develop my clients existing presence in North America. You shall be identifying additional sales leads, present to major blue chip Oil & Gas, Utilities, Power and related Engineering companies.
This role shall be predominately office based with some travel to North America and other locations when required for presentations and exhibitions.
Skills / Requirements:
- Degree or HNC qualified in mechanical or electrical engineering or can demonstrate experience within a technical sales role selling engineered products.
- Ability to identify the company's commercial and technical position for a proposal and closely follow this to order conversion.
- Foreign languages would be a distinct advantage but not essential.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
