polkadotfrog are currently seeking a Web Developer for a leading Web Agency based in Norwich Centre. This is an opportunity to join not only a established Web Media Agency, but a growing a financial sound company. You shall be given the opportunity to working with cutting edge technologies as well as learn new development techniques in a sizable PHP focused environment.
The ideal candidate will have 1+ years experience in web development, ideally in a Linux/Apache hosted environment using MySQL and PHP, however we are open to candidates of all levels, if that be a graduate of a Senior PHP Manager. More importantly you shall be the type of person who enjoys to work as a team as well as getting stuck in to projects on a individual basis. We are looking for someone who is responsible, friendly and has excellent communication skills when dealing with less technically aware clients.
Key Skills:
Excellent knowledge of PHP
HTML and CSS
PHP frameworks knowledge such as Zend or CodeIgniter or Kohanna
MVC Architecture awareness
MySQL
JavaScript / jQuery
Experience working on a variety of client sites
Desirable:
Classic ASP
Object Oriented design concept awareness
Experience / interest in Mobile App Development
