Our Ipswich based client is seeking an experience Sales Manager to sell company products into the export market. In return you will be awarded with an excellent basic salary, bonus potential and a secure role with a well established, reputable and successful local company.
Key areas of responsibility:
Quoting to customers via email and closing deals
Inputting orders and ensuring order for stock has been placed
Negotiating some pricing with suppliers
Proactive, persistent development of new and current customers via telephone or other methods
Maintaining and updating contacts database
Identifying new business opportunities
Developing and maintaining internal working relationships to ensure good service to the customer
Occasional foreign travels to visit customers or exhibitions
Qualifications and Experience required:
Sales experience
A-levels or equivalent in Spanish language is desirable. Also consider Arabic or Mandarin.
Technical experience in electronics desirable
Telephone/cold-calling
Relationship building
Export experience
Computer skills - MS Office, Outlook/Outlook Express, Accounts programmes (inputting orders etc).
This is a full time position working Monday - Friday.
