An exciting opportunity has arisen within a large town centre based employer. Due to the continued success and growth of the company higher level engineering roles have arisen.
The role is to approve and authorise repair estimates for customers' vehicles and previous experience within this field is required.
Duties:
Authorising estimates received from repairers over £400 using recognised engineering principles and trying to reduce repair costs on behalf of customers Approving repair invoices for PLG vehicles, commercial vehicles, HGVs, specialist vehicles Understanding of areas of damage and vehicle types Answering calls and logging onto the system Arranging call backs for customers Handling customer complaints and escalating to Management where appropriate Dealing with total loss vehicles - salvage categories and procedures
Experience required:
Proficient in the use of role specific systems- ProClaim and or ClaimFlo, Audatex, ARCs, Autoroute Excellent telephone manner Basic Microsoft Word / Excel knowledge Basic knowledge of relevant legislation - FOS or FSA Negotiating skills
