polkadotfrog has been established within Cambridge for 8 years. In early 2010 we launched a new Ipswich office and in January of 2011 we opened a new office in Norwich giving us a much larger presence within East Anglia.

Cambridge

Having occupied a city centre office for many years, we made the decision in May 2009 to move just a few minutes down the road to Hardwick. We now enjoy the comfort of a beautiful converted barn within a rural setting which offers Clients and Candidates a more relaxed and private environment with the added advantage of free parking and a regular bus service for those who don't drive!

Ipswich

In the heart of the town centre, you cannot fail to notice the bright and welcoming office located on the busy corner of Queen Street. Ideally located within easy reach of all public transport links and car parks, Clients and Candidates are invited to pop in at any time.

 Norwich

Our brand new office is based just outside the thriving city of Norwich and is conveniently positioned just 50 metres off the A11 near to Hethersett.
Although a rural location, we are only 3 miles from Wymondham and less than 5 miles from the City itself. Our office is a converted barn building with free onsite parking - ideal for candidate’s wishing to pop in and register in a completely private and relaxed environment. We can also offer Clients the facility to interview their candidate’s off-site in the quiet of our meeting room if required.
 

Lucy Tufts

Lucy Tufts, Founder/Director - Norwich

Having 18 years of continuous recruitment experience, I have naturally gained a great deal of knowledge about the industry and over the years I have been lucky enough to be exposed to many different sectors, from start up incubator companies to large well established firms. This invaluable knowledge allows me to contribute and guide my clients openly and honestly through every recruitment procedure. I have always developed longstanding relationships with my clients and I truly believe this is down to my ethical and nonbiased approach to recruitment and my thorough understanding of what each client requires in terms of service.

After setting up and establishing the Cambridge office (and many years of commuting from Norwich!), I am now driving the Norfolk office forward. We have a passionate and professional team in place here that share my belief for offering an exceptional and evolving service to our clients and candidates. As one of the founders and Directors of polkadotfrog, my motivation is placing great candidates in great companies, both of which Cambridge has in abundance. There is nothing as thrilling as seeing the recruitment process through from that initial conversation with the Client, through to placing a candidate in their ideal job and onto the next stage of their career. My years in recruitment have seen me through many highs and many lows but it's the highs that are important and you will always get a warm response when approaching me to help you with all your recruitment needs. Emily Coe, Office Manager - Cambridge

As the Office Manager at polkadotfrog, my role is very much all encompassing. As well as looking after our Account Managers, one of my main responsibilities is to make sure that our talented temporary workforce is paid each week! My other work includes marketing and social media, facilities and being a general point of contact for any query or concern that any client or candidate has. I am kept busy to say the least! Although I am based in our Cambridge Head Office, my work supports all three of our branches and enables our fantastic Account Managers to deliver the best service to our customers.

I stepped in to recruitment around 10 years ago working outside of London. I worked for two busy successful independent agencies mostly within the commercial field recruiting for all sectors, HR, Sales and Marketing, Finance, Legal, Executive Assistants at board level, coupled with a range of more specialist positions.

My philosophy has always been to be an honest and professional consultant (in a sense a holistic approach to recruiting), always striving to meet clients and candidates expectations, however moving forward with the industry and keeping up to date with an ever changing workforce.

Both my previous roles, have involved in working closely with candidates, advising on best interview practice, CV advice and assistance, mentoring candidates through selections process and in turn working closely with my clients to understand their culture and environment for best possible placements.

I always love a challenge and this job certainly has it's challenges, though I always know there is a solution to every problem that arises.

On a personal level, I have perused a love of travel and I have been fortunate enough to have a sabbatical and travel with my backpack to different parts of the world which include, the Middle-East, India, Nepal and Tibet the Himalayan region. Travelling has enabled me to have an open perspective to life thus developing myself personally and professionally.
